Chuck aka Pa

Chuck (pa) has raced motorcycles since the early 70's, racing both MX and road bikes. He skated in the 70's with either a G&S board or a custom built one (shop class) and tracker trucks ... you know when handstands were the rage:-) He "mellowed" in the 80's when he graduated from Georgia Tech as a Electrical Engineer but then broke down at Laguna Seca watching Mamola, Baldwin and Lawson beat on each other for the entire race. He started racing again ... and has never stopped!!! He only changed what he was racing.

 

Chuck & Katy

Ma and Pa (Katy and Chuck) met in a corner ... during a motocross race at Hollister Hills, CA ... Chuck kinda stuffed her:-) Anyway Chuck won ... Katy came in second ... and she sill never stops reminding Chuck about his sandbagging because SHE would have won!! After Chuck sponsored Katy from his track support operation ...they married two years later and now have two wonderful kids (Veronica and Devon).

 

Devon

Devon is one extreme dude. He started riding a bicycle at two and has not stopped! As an infant he was raised on Terrafirma and Crusty and immediately took that to the bicycle, building jumps in his diapers.

Anyway he has progressed and is now riding BMX and skateboarding at a very high level ... and he has ridding motorcycles like mom and dad. But unlike them he won his first two races!!

Keep your eye on this guy.

 

Veronica aka Vern

What a wonderful kid ... Vern, now in high school has grown up. She raced BMX when Sugar Hill was running and earned a state championship. She was very good at gymnastics in her youth.

As with being an excellent student she now runs track and cross country ... and is very fast on two feet!

You may get a "Vern Sighting" at the shop from time to time.

Our purebred "attention hound" ... he'll demand your attention while at the shop.

Enjoy his new sitting area ... which has a pet boutique, massage chair and an oxygen bar to help all his friends at the Suwanee animal shelter!!

Katy aka Mama

Katy (mama) has been into extreme sports since before they were defined as "extreme." She has surfed Santa Cruz, skated Redwood City, BMX'ed No-Cal in the early '80 and raced motorcycles since she was 12.

She has the scars to prove it ... ask her to show you her collarbone (skateboard biff) ... or her shoulder (60mph+ biff on a trail) ... or her broken wrist before pins (clearing a 70 ft table top). And please excuse her if occasionally she loses here train of thought ... studies show concussions do that to people.

Her bicycle "mentor" was Tom Ritchey who was her boss back in the late '80's.
