This is a letter from Jim Sandlin and Bike Gwinnett.
The SPLOST is up for vote again. The county is moving forward assuming it will pass, I assume it will also (notice all the signs which have recently gone up highlighting the projects this tax has funded, political advertising for the Tax at our expense:)... anyway I digress, we will make every attempt to have one of us attend. Please try to block out some time for this. The COUNTY NEEDED TO HEAR FROM CYCLIST OF ALL KIND.
We buy and sell used bicycles

Please understand we do not do this for Wal-Mart, K-Mart or any of the other big box stores. We will recycle those bikes for you if you need to get rid of one.

Submitted by Smiles on Wed, 2008-09-17 11:50.I finally got my card made up!! I searched the world wide web for that perfect picture ... one which captures my feeling of cycling. I found it and purchase it from Istockphoto ... Got the cards in and handed my first card out TO THE SUBJECT OF THE PHOTO!!! Yep, the person pictured on my card happen to walk in just after we got the cards ... he saw it and said it was him!! Then he showed me all the other places on the web that picture was used, so I believe him!!

Bikes are not Toys ... from a "Big Box"
